New start, new logo, new working space
2017 is for me the year for a new start, a new look for my blog and a new working space. A place which can give me peace and inspiration for creating new things. Therefore I am so happy with my new work area/home studio. I just can’t wait to get my fingers on all the idea’s that I have flying around in my head and to work them all out right here.
The final result is a very fresh and light room with a touch of Scandinavian to it.
What have happend?
- First of all I have got a nice long desk for my computer and my sewing machine. The table now looks so much more tidy and clean, that I hope that I can keep that look.
- Secondly my back wall is decorated with wallpaper with a simple black and white pattern, that I absolutely love. On the wall I have placed a big white board in the middle that I can use for photography and styling of pictures.
- The big white working table (which is also a guest bed, believe it or not) has got a new makeover and is so fine to work on when I have to cut some fabric or do different DIY’s.
- But the biggest change is the great closet with all the drawers. It was filled with transparent drawers where you could see all the stuff you had inside. Very practical, but not very stylish and it had a very messy look. My husband and I glued wooden panels on to the front of all the drawers and placed a kaki coloured leather handle in the middle of each drawer. Now I just have to memorize what I have in which drawer.
Do you have a working space/area as well at home and how would you like it to be?
